In Bergen & Surroundings, the Group owns a number of historic and more recent properties. The properties in and around Bergen form the cornerstone of the Group, where the property business started in 1993 with the purchase of a property in Allégaten on Nygårdshøyden in Bergen. Most of the properties consist of older buildings constructed traditionally in either timber frame or masonry over several storeys. After acquisition, all the buildings have been completely renovated. Many of the properties are strategically located in the centre of Bergen, within easy walking distance of the University of Bergen, public transport, nightlife and more.
The properties are currently used as rental properties in the Group, with a mix of student accommodation, rental apartments and commercial activities.
